Mission
BB&MA Home Away is a family owned and operated business started in the fall of 2021 by Beth-Ann Baptiste (CEO) and her husband, Ben. The idea came when Beth-Ann started taking work assignments away from home, having to rent hotels and airbnbs. She found that hotels were expensive and not very comfortable, while airbnbs were usually a little cheaper, they sometimes lacked the cleanliness and safety that she and her family desired. She wanted to find a solution for herself, so with the help of her husband, she bought and renovated her first short-term rental in Lake Charles, LA.
Whether it's a family or a traveling professional, BB&MA Home Away properties brings its guests together in a way that makes them feel as if they're home. Our quiet properties are the perfect place for families with young children to stay while they enjoy their vacation, and the ideal setting for business travelers who prefer a home-like environment when they're away from work.
